Thursday
How did it get to be Thursday so soon. I told myself I would blog daily, and time escaped me.
I'm getting into downloading podcasts. Geeze, I feel so behind the the curve. I have a favorite:
Cory Doctorow reading his science fiction short stories. http://www.craphound.com/podcast.php
it's nice, like books on tape. I can't stand "big screen" on the ipod. ex: I have Casablanca, and it's so small, not to mention out of sync, that it's just exhausting to watch. Michael suggested some Japanese Animae, with subtitles! How the hell can I read subtitles on that little screen? Too demanding.
I have this idea for a podcast, well originally, for a public TV show, called Ramapo Roxors. I was thinking of five 5-minutes segments for each show:
1. restaurants: we have several top restaurants, & I know the chefs love publicity
2. pets for adoption: there's Grateful Grayhouds, the shelter, Paws 'n Claws
3. religion: just in our area are several churches, a mosque, synogogues, a monestery, a convent, & the Salvation Army Officers Training Camp
4. entertainment: art deco movie theater, live theater,
5. celebrities: Les Paul, May Pang, several writers, musicians,
