The Stapler Incident

All names have been changed to protect the innocent. E is crazy, R is a joker, and S is junior G man with a secret decoder ring.

E sends out an email about the stapler by the copier machine is missing, but the string is still attached, has anyone seen it. She's worried that the cleaning crew might have taken it. (?!?) Then E asks the IT guy, S, to look at the security tapes. Now this guy, who makes about $200/hr is looking security tapes to find out what happened to this $1.75 stapler. And he finds a likely suspect: R. As R goes up to the copier, the stapler is there, then he's at the copier his body blocking it, then he puts something in his pocket, and walks away empty handed, but the stapler is gone. When confronted, R points out the stapler on the new guy, F's desk. R makes a statement at the nerve of F taking a stapler, when he doesn't even have a staple remover.

E has S print out a picture of R from the security tape. She takes the picture of R & draws an arrow through his back and writes "wanted" and leaves it on his desk. Somehow, S's boss gets a copy of the pic, and tells S not to do anything for E without consulting him.
