Day 12

At Sea

William & I awoke to rough seas. 12' high waves, with 12' low troths tossed us, up & down sickeningly.

I gave him a chewable children's dramamine & I took the Meclizine (Bonine) from the dispensary. After a few hours, we worked up the nerve to breakfast at the Windjammer. It was about 10:30 when we got there & they closed from 11-11:30 to switch over to lunch. We ate lightly & sat a while.

The bonine made me so sleepy! My eyes felt like lead.

Beth took the kids, presumably to a lecture on the planets, but they dilly-dallied over cartoon network for so long, that it didn't happen.

Hank & I went to a bridge lecture given by Bob, who w met at the service. It was to be held in Cloud Nin on deck 13, but a wedding reception was being held there instead. A lady invited us to her suite on deck 10. This was a balcony suite. Doorbells outside, kitchen, seating are, wall of glass doors to balcony with deck chairs, we could seat 16.

Although I was interested in the lecture on defensive playing, I could barely keep my eyes open. Damn bomine! Wish I took half! Well, at least I wasn't sea sick.

Back to Windjammer for a light lunch (why push my luck?) I lost Hank, but sat with a lovely older lady, a rich widow from the upper East side (ka-ching), obviously had 'work' done, in Victoria's Secret outfit, going to Arizona when she gets back.

Back to the room for another nap.
